FlyingIron Simulations Bf 109 to Release Next Week

FlyingIron Simulations has set a release date for their anticipated Messerschmitt Bf 109. The aircraft will be out on their store next week, on June 14th. The MSFS Marketplace version will follow in a few weeks after that, likely pending Microsoft’s schedule.

FlyingIron Simulations announced the development of their Bf 109 for the first time well over a year ago, in January 2022. Since then, the team has been steadily teasing and previewing more of the project with small development updates and screenshots up close and afar.

The specific model of the Bf 109 that the team decided to model is that of the G-6. Introduced in early 1943, this model was powered by a DB 605 engine. It also housed new armament, resulting in the recognisable ‘Beule’ blisters.

If any of the previous FlyingIron Simulation releases are anything to go by, the Bf 109 will be a highly accurate plane with custom systems, custom sounds and high quality modelling and textures. The team has also not set any indication of the price, nor shared a feature list.
