Following a long development period between stable releases, FlyByWire Simulations has updated the beloved A32NX to version 0.8.0. This brand new version brings with it some major new features that will enhance the simulation of the A320NEO even further.
This new stable version brings with it a huge overhaul of many systems, textures and autopilot behaviours. There is now a new custom flight management system, which adds huge improvements to LNAV capability. Autopilot, fly-by-wire handling and autothrottle have also been vastly improved to be much more realistic.
Brand new cockpit textures have also been introduced with this new build, providing a more authentic looking aircraft from the pilot’s perspective. You will also find that CPDLC Hoppie ACARS support has been added, along with TCAS 7.1 support. Finally, the MDCU interface has been added.
If you’ve been using the development or experimental branches of the A32NX, then you will likely have already used many of the new features. For those seeking to only use the stable branch, then everything here is brand new.
The general overview of what’s included for the new stable version is down below. However, you can see the full changelog on the FlyByWire Simulation’s website. In order to download or update, you will need the latest version of the FlyByWire Simulations installer.
