MSFS scenery developer Fly2High, known for their renditions of Fresno Yosemite Airport (KFAT) and Sofia International Airport (LBSF), has released their recreation of Wrocław Copernicus Airport (EPWR) for MSFS.
Wrocław Copernicus Airport (EPWR) is an international airport primarily serving the city of Wrocław, located in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. Originally constructed before World War II by Germany, the airport initially only served military purposes. After a short use by the Soviet Union in 1945, the airport eventually became a commercial facility, with the first flights operated to the Polish cities of Warsaw, Łódź, Poznan, and Katowice. The first international flight was performed to Frankfurt, Germany, in 1992 only.
Today, Wrocław Copernicus Airport (EPWR) serves as an operating base for several different carriers, including Ryanair and Wizz Air, and sees numerous other carriers jet off to distant destinations from its single runway, among them Air France to Paris, Lufthansa to Frankfurt and Munich, and Swiss to Zurich.
MSFS scenery developer Fly2High has released their rendition of this historic Polish airfield for MSFS users to discover. The product comes with an accurately-modeled recreation of the airport, PBR materials applied to ground and airport building textures, custom animated vehicle traffic, internal terminal modeling, and enhanced 3D city night lighting, among others.
Fly2High’s rendition of Wrocław Copernicus Airport (EPWR) can be purchased via the developer’s simMarket store page and will cost new customers €11.00 Exc. VAT. Existing customers who have previously purchased any of the developer’s previous products other than Sofia International Airport (LBSF) will be subject to a discounted purchase price of €9.00 Exc.
