MSFS scenery developer Fly2High has officially broken into the X-Plane market with the recent release of their Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport scenery for X-Plane 11 and 12.
Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (KSAV/SAV) is a commercial and military-use airport located in Savannah, Georgia. The airport is a popular first-stop for tourists due to the airport’s proximity to many vacation destinations, including Savannah’s historic district, Hilton Head Island, and the Golden Isles. First opened in 1929, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport has grown from a small municipal airport to housing the Savannah Air National Guard and serving as an operating base for Allegiant Airlines. In addition to Allegiant, the airport is served by almost every major U.S. airline. To accommodate for increasing passenger numbers, the airport authority plans to expand the security checkpoint and add an additional four gates to the terminal.
Fly2High’s rendition of Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport depicts the most up-to-date layout of the real life airport with PBR texturing on all objects, custom HDR lights, custom orthophoto, and much more. To ensure the most accurate scenery, the Fly2High team based their modeling and texturing on real-life photos of the airport.
You can now purchase Fly2High’s Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport scenery from simMarket for €15.99.
