Fresh off the heels of their Houston Hobby release, Fly2High took to their Facebook to announce that Jacksonville V2 is in development for MSFS.
Jacksonville International Airport (KJAX/JAX) is the 7th busiest airport in Florida and serves as the primary gateway for northeast Florida. The airport was constructed in the mid-1960s and has continued to experience modest growth since then. In fact, 2024 marked Jacksonville Airport’s busiest year of operations. The airfield’s two runways are laid out in a V-shape, with the passenger terminals located in the middle. While no airline claims Jacksonville as a hub, it is served by all of the U.S airlines, with Delta and American Airlines funneling key connecting traffic to their nearby Atlanta and Charlotte hubs. To accommodate future growth, the airport authority broke ground on a new Concourse B in 2024, which will add six new gates to the airport.

Fly2High’s Jacksonville V2 will incorporate the latest updates to the airport terminal, along with a “fresh new experience from the ground up.” The developer’s Houston Hobby scenery marked a new level of detail, so it will be interesting to see what is in store for Jacksonville. The announcement post only contained an exterior shot of the terminal’s landside facilities, but Fly2High noted that more previews are coming soon.
FSElite will continue to monitor this story and share any future updates.
