FlightSimLabs has issued a brief update addressing several frequently raised questions surrounding the next update to the Airbus A321neo product line, including the highly anticipated Pratt & Whitney PW1000G engine variant.
Work on the next update is ongoing, with progress impacted by a combination of technical challenges and ongoing changes introduced through MSFS24 Sim Updates, which have required additional development and validation time.

FlightSimLabs explained that they are currently supporting both MSFS20 and MSFS24, while simultaneously preparing for a future product line built specifically for full integration with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Ensuring compatibility across both simulator versions means that changes often need to be carefully reviewed and tested on each platform, adding an extra layer of complexity to the update process. Despite this, the team says it remains committed to delivering stable and consistent updates to users on both platforms.

In terms of timing, FlightSimLabs confirmed that a major update is not expected before Christmas, explaining that releasing close to the holiday period can place unnecessary strain on QA and support resources, and they want to ensure full availability when an update is eventually deployed.

Development and testing will continue, with further information to be shared once timelines become clearer. A few in-development preview screenshots from current work-in-progress builds were also shared to give a visual snapshot of ongoing development.

Stay tuned to FSElite for the latest updates.
