Following the official announcement, as well as several teaser videos posted over the last few weeks, developer FlightSimLabs has shared more details, including an expected price, on their upcoming A321ceo for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
The developer aims to “set a new standard for flight simulation realism”, with a slew of features that aim to enhance realism and immersion for the add-on. The A321ceo will feature cabin operations, featuring (customisable) PA announcements and airline-specific cabin packs. A custom MEL system, as seen in one of the teaser videos, will challenge your skills with randomised inoperative equipment. The aircraft sports a detailed model with high resolution textures, but also dynamic effects such as brake wear, dust accumulation, icing and bug splatters. The icing system goes beyond just a visual model, and using GSX Pro integration, you’ll have to carefully manage your de-icing operations in certain regions of the world. FlightSimLabs has also included a GPS jamming scenario in their Airbus, something which has become more common in the real world in recent years and will put your pilot skills even more to the test.
FlightSimLabs also revealed the pricing for their A321ceo. The package will include four different A321’s, with IAE V2500 and CFM56 engines, featuring wing tip fences as well as Sharklets. This package will be available for $69.99 USD for MSFS 2020, with a free upgrade to MSFS 2024.
A321neo Announcement
Following FlightSimLabs A321 announcement and teasers, a lot of members in the community members kept wondering why FSLabs didn’t go for the A321neo instead. The developer has done just that, and has now also officially announced and revealed their Airbus A321neo for MSFS2020 and 2024. The project is still in progress, but it should follow shortly on the release of the A321ceo. Customers who purchase the ceo variant between now and the neo release, will receive a discount towards the A321neo.
