Flight Simulation Association has announced notable changes for FlightSimExpo 2026, including a new Friday exhibit hall opening and expanded ticketing options for those unable to attend the full three-day schedule.
For the first time, the exhibit hall will open on Friday, giving attendees a preview window between 4:30pm and 7:00pm on June 12. The timing lines up directly after the #FSExpoFriday developer presentations and product reveals.
Speaking about the schedule change, FSA Co-Founder Evan Reiter said that the decision came directly from community and partner feedback.
“We’ve heard from attendees and developers that their favorite part of FlightSimExpo is the chance to interact with developers and try the latest software and hardware,” he explained. “This change allows us to offer attendees 20% more time in the exhibit hall without changing the overall travel footprint for our partners.”
The event’s core schedule remains familiar, with updates, hands-on demos, Q&As, and workshops running through Saturday and Sunday. Organisers also confirmed the return of off-site activities such as tower and airport tours, with more details expected early next year.
More Flexible Ticketing for 2026
Alongside schedule updates, FSA will introduce additional single-day ticket options based on the popularity of the Sunday-only pass offered in 2025. Attendees in 2026 will be able to purchase Friday-only, Saturday-only, or Sunday-only access, in addition to an entire-event pass.
“While the best experience is always for those who can attend the entire show, these new ticket options will make it easier for people who can’t attend all three days—especially for those local to the MSP area,” said Co-Founder Phil Coyle.
In terms of pricing, event prices are cheaper than in previous years. For an entire event ticket, the standard price will be $75 (no processing fees). Single-day tickets range from $30 – $50, and FSA Captains will still save 20% on registration. Plus, the first 200 Captains to register will have access to the entire event for just $50 USD. Prices will increase in March and in May, so registering early is beneficial. You can see the example preview of the page below.
To be clear, tickets are not on sale yet, but you can sign up to the mailing list to be notified. Registration will begin in December.
Exhibitor and Partner Registration Now Open
Sponsor and exhibitor registration is also now open, with packages starting at $750, including booth furnishings, internet, power, and event passes. Educational speaking slots remain available at no cost.
Developers, hardware manufacturers, community organisations, and other industry groups interested in participating are encouraged to register early.

Venue and Travel
FlightSimExpo 2026 will take place at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in Minnesota, located approximately eight miles from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. The surrounding area offers a range of accommodation options, discounted hotel rates for attendees, and partner airline travel discounts.
The venue also sits within a short drive of attractions, including the Mall of America and downtown Saint Paul.
