Yes, that’s right, FlightSimExpo goers will be able to see a Super Patriot Aircraft right on the exhibit floor this year at Providence, Rhode Island. For the first time at a FlightSimExpo show, visitors will be able to see the real world counterpart parked next to a virtual rendition running in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Parallel 42 confirmed the development of the plane last August and is proud to be able to bring it to display right on the show floor. This is a bespoke, custom and purpose-built adventure aircraft that is being recreated for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Not only will you be able to see the plane, but the Patriot team will also be on site to answer any questions.
Edson Soriano, Managing Director of //42 said: “We don’t just talk about realism; we bring it. At our booth—412—you’ll find the real Super Patriot Mark II parked next to its digital counterpart in MSFS 2024.” He continued, “Stop by and see how we’re honoring the craftsmanship of this beautiful aircraft up close, inside and out. The Patriot team will also be on-site, ready to answer questions or share stories of the uncharted.”
FlightSimExpo 2025 is already shaping up to be a fantastic year for the show, with over 70 confirmed exhibitors on the packed show floor. Adding an actual aircraft to the mix is a first for the show. “We’re thrilled to welcome our first real-world aircraft manufacturer to FlightSimExpo,” says Evan Reiter, an airline pilot who is also one of the event’s organizers. “Since the creation of the show, we’ve been working to close the gap between simulation and real-world flying. Having both the real and MSFS versions of the Super Patriot at the event represents a milestone achievement for this effort, and we’re very thankful to both Parallel 42 and Patriot Aircraft for making it possible.”
