The FlightSimExpo 2021 schedule and registration links are now live. Scheduled to be held on June 4-6 2021 in San Diego, North America’s community-driven flight simulation conference is looking to invite simmers around the world to join in the hybrid event.
In the press release issued by FlightSimExpo, the attendee registration this year is designed to be as flexible as possible. Registration is now open for both in-person and online attendees. Those who are looking to attend in-person can register for $70 USD, which includes access to the exhibitor and seminar halls for the whole weekend. As with previous years, Captains’ Corner is also available to add onto your registration for $10 USD. Captains’ Corner is an add-on pack that will enable you to see additional educational seminars on Friday, June 4th 2021.
If you’re wanting to be part of FlightSimExpo 2021 from home, then you are able to do so remotely. An online-only offering is also available for $15 USD. This registration will give you unrestricted access to three days of seminars via a live stream, along with the ability to view product videos, discounts and exhibitor video booths in a virtual exhibit hall.
Whilst registration is now open, FlightSimExpo will be polling registered attendees, developers and the broader community to better understand feelings and also evaluating the current global situation. Event sponsors and exhibitors will be announced following those discussions. It’s important to note that any registration packages added will not incur a charge until later in the year.
Registering now is important for the FlightSimExpo team to help them approach sponsors, exhibitors and content creators. Evan from FlightSimExpo said “when we can approach sponsors and exhibitors with attendee registration numbers, we can have a much more productive conversation and deliver a conference that is most aligned with the community’s wishes.” It is also confirmed that the FlightSimExpo website will be updated weekly with attendee registration numbers and a list of developers who are planning to attend.
We also have our first-look at the schedule and speakers has also been confirmed. Sessions include understanding VR, home cockpit construction, Microsoft Flight Simulator development and also understanding online flying. Check out the schedule page to see what’s going on.
On Saturday 13th February 2021 at 12:00pm PT (20:00 GMT), FlightSimExpo Co-Founder, Evan, will be joining Moosestaffa on Twitch to answer questions anyone from the community may have.
Whilst the situation is flexible, we can confirm FSElite intends on attending the show in-person.
You can register now for FlightSimExpo 2021 both the in-person event and the online component. You’ll be able to change or cancel your registration at no charge.
