After revealing a trailer last week, HiFi Sim have announced at FlightSimCon 2016 that they will be releasing both a new weather engine and texture pack THIS YEAR. David Graham was kind enough to take some shots of their flyers introducing Active Sky 2016 and Active Sky Cloud Art.
Integrated weather and graphics in brand new ways. Real-time texture dynamics, new 33 cloud structures, evolved weather simulation and enhanced depiction techniques will render your skies like never before.
AS16 is their brand new weather engine, providing several new features including Navigraph data integration, P3D 3.X visibility smoothing and new in-cloud motion effects.
ASCA has full integration with AS16 providing the “ultimate” in sim weather and visuals. The most exciting part is the real-time dynamic texture loading, new 3D clouds and amazing cloud and sky textures.
