FlightSim Studio has shared its first development update for the Tupolev Tu-154M for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, providing new details on systems implementation, navigation options, exterior modelling, and a list of included liveries.

One of the final major features in development is the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), which will provide load planning, performance calculations, and configuration options while complementing the aircraft’s authentic three-crew operation. Simmers will also be able to choose between the original Doppler navigation system for a true Soviet-era experience or the Bendix/King KLN90B GPS, with additional navigation options still under consideration.
The team continues to refine the aircraft’s exterior model, paying particular attention to the Tu-154’s distinctive tail assembly and using original maintenance manuals to recreate structural details throughout the airframe accurately.

FlightSim Studio also confirmed that the aircraft will ship with a wide selection of liveries, including Aeroflot, Interflug, LOT, Balkan Holidays, CSA, Cubana, Malev, Ural Air Lines, UTAir and several military and regional operators.
