Developer FlightSIm Studio has shared its roadmap for how 2025 looks for them. In a short, but sweet post on their Instagram page, they confirmed a few teases about what we can expect from them in the next year.
Starting with the 727 they released in 2024, they said that they will continue to improve the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 ‘Experimental Version’. They released this experimental version late last year as a way for people to fly the plane in the new sim, but with the caveat that not everything will work as intended. The team intend on ensuring that the plane will be fully compatible in the future.
Continuing on with the 727 theme, they said that they want to release the 727 ‘Passenger Version’ in the first half of 2025. This will compliment the already-released Freighter model of the plane.
As for the E-Jets, 2025 is the year of LNAV/VNAV and the custom FMS. This is a feature we have covered in the past as it has been developed and FSS seem confident that 2025 will be the year we finally get it. FlightSim Studio also plans on making this the year we get E-Jet compatibility for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (providing the simulator stabilises).
We’ll continue to provide coverage for you on FlightSim Studio and its future products in 2025.
