FlightSim Studio has released E-Jets v0.10.50, delivering another substantial update to its Embraer E-Jets Series for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. The latest build focuses on flight guidance, FMS functionality and general system improvements as the aircraft approaches the end of Early Access.
The autopilot has received several refinements, including improved FLCH and altitude capture, smoother pitch and FPA transitions, better autothrottle behaviour and updated autotrim logic following autopilot disconnect. The yaw damper has also been adjusted to prevent continuous wing rocking.

Further improvements have been made to the FMS, with Direct To now better handling routes without unexpected loops or detours. DES NOW functionality has been corrected, while VNAV, descent constraints, ECON speeds, SID procedures and RNAV approaches have also received attention.
The update additionally expands ACARS and SimBrief integration, including weather requests, METAR uplinks and improved performance data imports. EFB, GSX, MCDU, electrical, engine and display systems have also received various fixes.

FlightSim Studio says the E-Jets are now approaching the end of Early Access, although no Version 1.0 release date has been confirmed.
As a reminder, the price of the FSS E-Jets 170/175 and FSS E-Jets 190/195 will increase with v1.0. (All current customers will receive the update free of charge). A native MSFS24 version is planned following Version 1.0 and will be free for existing customers.
