FlightSim Studio has announced the release date for their 727 passenger version for Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to their announcement, the 727 passenger version is scheduled to be released on Thursday, April 17th, with the release time planned between 10:00 and 14:00 UTC.
The passenger version will be priced similarly to the freighter version, around €40, though pricing may vary across different stores. FlightSim Studio states that the passenger version will be a standalone product and will not require the freighter version to function.
Additionally, a 20% “crossgrade” discount will be available for existing owners of the freighter version, but this offer is limited to purchases outside of the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.

The 727 passenger version will initially be available at Aerosoft and Contrail, with other retailers expected to follow within 1–2 weeks. The Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace release is planned for 2–3 months afterward.
FlightSim Studio has also stated that they are developing an FS2024 version of the 727, noting that the current FS2024 version has an issue with the APU not starting. FlightSim Studio states they are investigating this and will provide a free update to owners once a fix is in place.
