FlightFactor Details Future Roadmap

In a X-Plane.org forum post, Roman aka Ramzzess, co-founder of FlightFactor, shared with the community their insights for the future of FlightFactor. As the team considers that their 757, 767 and A350 are now stable and that their A320 will soon be out of Beta, the team now has room left to organize their future developments.

Right now, the team is switching their development process to a new method called parallel programming, which will enable Flightfactor to create future products with “more immersive and close to life, [with] more in-depth features and will be more complex“.

The second point of the roadmap is the team confirming that they are currently working on a new PRO series model, created from scratch. No hint was given on which aircraft was in the works, but Roman further commented that the real aircraft was “not an old plane“.

The last point is that in order to achieve aircraft closer to a pilot point of view rather than be manual or video based, Roman is currently undertaking an ATPL and Boeing type rating course. He hopes to achieve the ATPL course in the upcoming months, with the type rating next in line.
