FlightFactor has updated its Boeing 777-200ER V2 Ultimate to version 2.3.3 for X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 12. Mostly focusing on the Freighter Expansion, however, the B777 V2 Ultimate Base Package also sees some updates.
One of the highlights in this update is the brand-new taxi camera system, complete with a fully modelled 3D taxi cam unit for the Freighter variant. Other Freighter updates include fixing issues with auto/manual door states, catering services, galley and main deck lighting and the bleeding from the beacon light.
Visual tweaks continue with corrections to the left navigation light’s green cover, cabin lighting in internal view, and ambient occlusion on the Freighter’s APU panel. Unwanted Freighter cockpit and cabin clickspots have also been removed for a cleaner experience.
Systems-wise, FlightFactor has resolved several electrical and operational issues, including the DRIVE Disconnect Switches, IDG reset functionality, and the ground equipment menu. Brake behaviour also sees refinement, fixing issues where hardware-mapped brakes interfered with realistic parking brake logic or did not disengage when toggling the hold brakes command with a super low brake intensity setting.
Finally, those with the Engine or Freighter Expansion package can now enjoy the addition of the GE90-115BL.
