FlightFactor 777v2 Release is “Imminent”

The long-awaited long-haul aircraft lands soon for X-Plane.

The FlightFactor 777v2 has been in development for a staggering period of time, with many waiting with bated breath for the long hauler in X-Plane. However, the wait appears to be coming to an end as the developer has confirmed that a release will happen very soon.

Speaking on X (formally Twitter), the team at FlightFactor said that the “public beta” is coming on the 12th anniversary of the model.

A pretty nice trailer (above) has been produced by Thomas Rasmussen that showcases all of its features. This includes the EFB, pop-out display functionality, and the ability to use full voice control and interact with a range of personnel. It also demonstrates a full failure system, maintenance areas, and how you can change the cabin configuration.

Finally, it was confirmed that the release of the 777v2 is “imminent”, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for that. You can watch a previous video here.
