Flightbeam released Wellington Airport (NZWN) for Prepar3D already back in April of 2019, and it was reviewed by us rather favourably. Now Flightbeam seems to be getting ready to bring this small but beautiful airport to Microsoft Flight Simulator. The team has shared the first previews of the airport, showing off some of what we can come to expect in this scenery.
The scenery will feature updated models, and see itself updated to the latest real world situation with updated construction works at the airport. It will also feature new and highly detailed Gen-5 jetways, hand-painted PBR textures, sloped runways and more.
The team had hoped to release this scenery back in August, but it was unfortunately delayed due to Sim Update V. A comment on a new release date was not made, but the progress from the previews looks promising.
