Flightbeam has pushed out a brand new update for its San Francisco: Captain’s Edition product on Microsoft Flight Simulator, making it version 1.1.1. This new build includes a significant number of changes to improve their number 1 best-selling product.
To begin, there is now the all-new highspeed taxiway Tango in the airport simulator. This was completed in June of this year and is a complete re-working of the taxiway to enable aircraft to come off the runway at higher speeds. Flightbeam took the time to revisit the airport and recreated it faithfully in their version of San Francisco.
Speaking of the ground environment, Flightbeam has improved the runways by making them higher in resolution and changing layers to show off the hand-painted tyre gum. There are now runway grooves that are also in keeping with the real-world airport.
There are also new flora bits hand-placed around the airport, tweaks to the shoreline, and additional trucks added to improve the overall realism of the scenery.
You can get your update now through the Contrail app. If you have yet to purchase, you can do so from Contrail right now.
