Flightbeam No Longer Porting Products to X-Plane

Flightbeam is the latest developer to announce that they will no longer be porting products to X-Plane in the near future.

On the Flightbeam forums, a user asked the developer is San Fransisco (KSFO) would ever be ported/released for X-Plane 11. In response, Mir said “last year I considered bringing a couple of my products over to XP11 […].” He then went onto add “but with [Microsoft Flight Simulator] looming this next year, I can tell you that there will absolutely be no chance of KSFO arriving in XP11.” Sadly the bad news didn’t end there with Mir adding that it won’t just be KSFO that won’t be ported, but “any other of our products.”

Whilst it is always a shame that any developer pulls out of developing for a specific platform, users can still download Portland XP, which is published under the Flightbeam banner. P3D users can check out the preview teaser we have seen from the upcoming Auckland airport.

Update: Thanks to Tim W, Morris D, Maor G and Yusuf P for the tip.
