Flight Sim Labs has quietly continued to develop their A3XX Sharklet product for Prepar3D and we haven’t heard much from the team as of late. In fact, the last we heard was back in December 2020 when Lefteris said the team provided“excellent feedback” on the product. However, developer Andy Wilson gave us a quick update on how things are progressing.
In the Flight Sim Labs forums, Andy said that the team is planning a “shorter promotional period with these titles” and to not to be too disheartened by the lack of update posts from the team. However, he reassured simmers that lots of work is ongoing behind the scenes and he has finished work on the promo film which will premiere before the release. Despite the tease, no actual features were mentioned in the post, so we must continue to wait to learn more about what to expect. We did get a cheeky new screenshot (above) to tease us until the trailer drops.
However, it was confirmed that the current fleet of wing-tip fence aircraft will be updated soon. He said that testing is complete and the installers are just being finalised. Again, we don’t know what the update will bring, but it won’t be long until we do learn more.
For now, you can head over to the Flight Sim Labs forums to join the ‘Sharklet hype’ thread.
