Flight Factor’s 777-200ER for X-Plane 12 has received a new engine expansion, introducing the Rolls-Royce Trent 892 powerplants.

Flight Factor has announced the release of Rolls-Royce Trent 892 engines for their 777-200ER addon, available to owners of the Engine Extension pack. The announcement was made on the X-Plane.org forums.

According to Ramzzess from Flight Factor, this new addition for the 777-200ER features a completely new 3D model for the engine, as well as new sounds specifically created for this engine type. Additionally, the Trent 800 includes a new Engine Pressure Ratio and Thrust model, which are stated to be within 2% of real-world figures.

For new customers, the full product, the 777-200ER v2 Ultimate with the Engine Expansion pack, can be purchased from the X-Plane.org store for $104. Existing owners of the 777 v2 Ultimate can acquire the Engine Expansion pack as an upgrade for $15.
