The team at Fenix continues to be busy with updating their planes and improving the experience for customers. In their newest blog post, we see improvements to the Fenix A320, new teasers for the A321 and A319, and learn about their new installer.
Beginning with the improvements, we learn from the team that various components of the plane have been improved. Sounds in particular were a focus, thanks to new recordings. You can hear the differences in hot/humid weather conditions compared to cold and dry. Cockpit wind has been overhauled too, along with the ability to now switch hydraulic pump options for your plane that come with accurate sound recordings.
Systems and flight dynamics saw some slight changes, with wind on the ND now being provided by sensors on the plane rather than just reading with in the sim. Some minor adjustments were made to the FBW system too to make pitch smoother.
A319/A321
The team has provided a few teaser pictures for their upcoming expansions. It’s still not clear when they will be coming out with the planes but we are closer than before. All of these system updates and the new installer (more on that in a second) is all in prep for releasing these new planes.

Fenix Installer
A new installer has been created to make adding and updating their aircraft much easier. This new system will download files you need rather than having to download the whole thing and install it again. It’s far more efficient and will save you time and bandwidth. According to new CTO, Ben, the median time for updating your plane can be as fast as 11 seconds. This compares to over 2 minutes to download and install.
