Felis Releases Boeing 747-200F Cargo for X-Plane 12

Felis’ new Boeing 747-200F Classic Cargo for X-Plane 12 delivers a highly detailed freighter experience with animated doors, full cargo loading, and study-level systems for serious simmers.

Felis has released the Boeing 747-200F Classic Cargo for X-Plane 12, giving simmers the chance to fly one of aviation’s most iconic freighters in a detailed, study-level format. Building on the foundation of the original 747-200 Classic, this new variant focuses entirely on freight operations with a redesigned interior, updated systems, and a fully modelled cargo environment.

The standout feature is the fully realised main deck freight area, complete with functional cargo rollers, lighting, and load visualisation. The nose and side doors are animated and controlled through an updated EFB, allowing simmers to load the aircraft realistically before pushing back.

Inside the cockpit, Felis has made freighter-specific changes, including revised panels, the option to seal upper-deck windows, and the same deep simulation seen in the previous release. The aircraft includes the GE CF6-50E2 engines, tape-style flight instruments, full INS navigation capability, and detailed systems modelling across hydraulics, electrics, fuel, and pressurisation.

X-Plane 12 users can also expect modern visuals thanks to PBR materials and lighting tuned for the latest version of the sim. Several liveries are included, and existing owners of the passenger 747-200 receive a discount and be able to buy it for $30.00.

The Felis Boeing 747-200F Classic Cargo is available now via the X-Plane.org Store for $70.00 for all other customers.
