Just in time for FeelThere’s autumn sale, the developer took to their Facebook page to announce the release of their Amsterdam Schiphol scenery for MSFS.
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM/AMS) is the main international airport for the Netherlands and is a major hub for SkyTeam member, KLM. Known for its expansive airport footprint, Schiphol can trace its roots back to 1916, when it began as a military base. Passenger operations began in 1920, however, operations began to ramp up after World War II when the airport was rebuilt due to the war. Since then, Schiphol has grown to the fourth busiest airport in Europe and the fourteenth busiest airport in the world. Besides passenger flights, the airport is known for its cargo operations with KLM Cargo and Martinair.
FeelThere’s Amsterdam Schiphol scenery aims to be an affordable, yet realistic option to improve your European flying experience. The scenery features over 80 detailed buildings with PBR texturing, interiors for the terminal buildings, custom jetways, realistic runway sloping, and much more. For added immersion, FeelThere added a number of custom objects throughout the scenery, including the KLM Fokker 100 on display and the “I am-sterdam” sign. To ensure FeelThere’s scenery works properly, users will have to disable the Asobo Schiphol Airport scenery.
You can purchase FeelThere’s Amsterdam Schiphol Airport scenery directly from their website for $14.99. However, for a limited time, the scenery is on sale for $13.49.
