Fabio Merlo has released FlightControlSpotter for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, giving you a new way to enjoy the sim from a plane spotter’s perspective.
The new in-sim toolbar panel allows users to instantly jump to the nearest control tower, select airports by ICAO, or quickly move to runways, parking stands, and even fully custom viewpoints. Spotters can save their favourite locations, manage presets, and return to the cockpit at any time with a simple shortcut. Built on the default drone camera system, the tool enables smooth cinematic views and flexible positioning for those wanting to capture screenshots or follow aircraft movements.
FlightControlSpotter is available now via SimMarket for €12.50 (excluding VAT), with a launch discount available until September 28th 2025. Customers can also bundle it with FlightControlReplay 5 for a reduced price, while existing FlightControlReplay 5 owners benefit from an upgrade price of €9.99 (excluding VAT).
