Developer FlyJSim has provided an extensive post on some updates for multiple projects of theirs including Shared Flight, the Q4XP and also their 737 and 727 aircraft.
Shared Flight
First up, the team wanted to go into some more detail about Shared Flight on X-Plane. The multi-crew plugin will enable pilots to join together online and fly a variety of aircraft together in a shared environment. In the post, the team wanted to clarify a handful of things that were brought up after the announcement.
Firstly, the team are looking for anyone who feels they have a product or service that would benefit the training part of the plugin, should get in touch. Another point that was raised was to assure people that other products, not just FlyJsim products would be compatible. The most requested aircraft is the Zibo 737-800, which has been confirmed to be supported from the initial release. FlyJSim also said that Shared Flight will use terrain synchronization to ensure that if you have slightly different scenery, you won’t have any issues being somewhat synced in the world.
In terms of pricing, the team have said they will deliver a product that is fair to the community and is also economical to the development team. If you’re interested in getting involved, you can

FlyJSim 732 and 727
The team will be issuing a range of quality of life improvements to both the 732 and the 727 aircraft. In future updates, you can expect:
- Librain to be added
- Folko’s Avitab
- TCAS VSI (727)
- A fix to the GPWS sounds on the 732
No exact timing was given, but they are “closer” to updating the products for the community.
Q4XP
Moving onto the next aircraft from FlyJSim, the Q4XP is coming along nicely and is “on schedule.” With the exterior modelling now complete, the team took an opportunity to paint some liveries for the aircraft, which they have now shared with the community. Lots of classic liveries will be included with FlyJSim’s Q4XP when it eventually releases.
Q400 Legacy [Formerly Q400 v2]
The team are also taking this opportunity to phase out the name of the old Q400 the team previously developed. The original Q400 was actually the first aircraft developed by FlyJSim over 8 years ago. So whilst the team are sad to see the aircraft transition to the hanger, they are excited about the new technology and prospect of their upcoming Q4XP.
