efbX Releasing Q4 2026, New Details and Trailers

efBX will release in Q4 2026 following a new trailer at FSExpo 2026.

AviaSim has partnerd with us for our FlightSimExpo 2026 coverage. With 30+ locations and 50+ simulators across the USA, Canada, and Europe, AviaSim is the world's number one flight simulator network open to the public. Learn more about their 1:1 replicas of commercial airliner cockpits.

We have known about efbX for a while now, but the time has come for developer KatiePilot to share all-new details about the fully-connected, custom Electronic Flight Bag platform for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

During FSExpoFriday, the team confirmed that the new product will come with a host of functionality and features that will make the whole simulation experience easier. It is completely customisable and can interact with your simulator in meaningful ways. You can track your flight, import flight plans, operate GSX, engage with the Fenix aircraft, edit photos taken from within the simulator, sign off ground reports, and much more. Plus you can keep up-to-date with the latest flight sim news from FSElite and Threshold directly in the app.

The concept of the tool is to allow you to customise it to your liking, installing only apps that you need and want. Its customisable structure is intended to give users greater control over how they prepare, manage, and enhance their flights whilst feeling fully in touch with their EFB, much the same the real world.

“As a real world Airline captain, I get quite frustrated at how much effort it takes to get a virtual flight going these days. At work, we show up, brief, fuel, board and go because all the tools we need are in front of us, efbX is designed to bring us back to that gold standard of realism above all else” said KatiePilot, creator of efbX.

Whilst the application is best suited to tablet devices, it can be used on any device connect to your main simulator computer. You can use a phone or even a webroswer if you’d like. The concept is to make connecting to your simulator as easy as possible.

During the show, it was confirmed that efbX is aiming to release in Q4 2026. KatiePilot said, “Announcing our Q4 2026 release window at #FSExpoFriday is a huge milestone, and we’re excited to start showing the community what we’ve been cooking up for the last few years”

If you are at FlightSimExpo 2026, you can go hands-on with efbX at their booth (417). You can also sign up to request early access at their website.
