While we’ve certainly seen the visual model previewed on the upcoming Aerosoft A330, something we haven’t heard a lot of is some of the features we can look forward to in the product. One of the most requested features for the Aerosoft Airbus family has always been an EFB, or electronic flight bag, used to store and read charts, among other things. Today, in a post that will certainly make Aerosoft Airbus fans happy, Mathijs has announced that the A330 will feature an EFB!
Mathijs elaborated that it’s now “90% certain” that they’ll be including a simplified EFB in their A330. This feature will be initially used to show the geo-referenced charts, with both the Jeppesen and LIDO format being supported.
A short and sweet post for sure, but Mathijs assures us that more will be shared on the EFB when such information is available. We’ll let you know when there’s anything new on the EFB in the upcoming Aerosoft A330!
