The package has been developed in partnership with the Mission Aviation Fellowship, with audio captured from a real 208B EX using more than 12 microphones and recording perspectives. According to the developer, the goal is to deliver a highly authentic recreation of the aircraft’s PT6 engine, propeller, and overall soundscape.
The sound pack introduces a completely new engine and propeller audio, alongside full 3D ambisonic cockpit sound. External audio has also been reworked, with 360-degree flyby and environmental sounds designed to enhance both in-flight and ground-based experiences.
In addition to engine and environmental audio, the package includes re-recorded cockpit interactions such as switches, levers, and doors, as well as new system sounds for ventilation, bleed air, fuel pumps, and flaps. A built-in headphone simulation option is also included, allowing users to reduce ambient cockpit noise for a more focused experience.
The Precision Audio Pack is now available and priced at $14.99. You can buy it via the product page here.
