Easter Island is getting a full make-over with the upcoming release from WTFlightSim.

Easter Island by WTFlightSim is Coming Soon to MSFS

WTFlightSim, the developer behind Prepar3D’s Phuket Airport, has been sharing images for his upcoming first release on Microsoft Flight Simulator. Easter Island is one of the most remote parts of the world and WTFlightSim is bringing the iconic island airport to MSFS.

We can see from the work-in-progress screenshots that WTFlightSim will be including a range of features and functionality in the scenery product. The foliage has been scattered around the airport, along with plenty of 3D modelling for the huts and airport buildings themselves. Even the iconic Easter Island ‘heads’ are included.

Whilst Easter Island’s Mataveri International Airport is pretty remote, it does see a daily 787 land at the airport. There is also plenty of GA traffic at the airport too, doing regular tours around the island.

It would appear that the airport is due to release in the next few weeks with development wrapping up soon. We’ll keep our eyes peeled and let you know when we learn more. For now, enjoy the previews.
