On Facebook, Drzewiecki Design, posted a status update on both Moscow City X and their newest scenery, Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2. Moscow City X includes a detailed model of the Moscow metropolitan area in Russia. It includes “lite” sceneries of seven airports, various helipads, and thousands of buildings. Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2 is a highly detailed scenery compatible with both FSX and Prepar3D. Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport is the busiest airport in all of Russia serving 45.8 million passengers in 2018 and serves as the main hub for Russia’s flag carrier, Aeroflot.
Starting with Moscow City X, Drzewiecki Design has sent the v1.4 update to stores. The update is free to all existing customers and adds compatibility with Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2 by fixing the areal image blend mask, autogen, mesh, and vehicle traffic. Some of the “lite” airports in the scenery including Moscow Domodedovo, Vnukovo, and Zhukovsky International Airports have also been updated. The “lite” sceneries have low poly buildings, static aircraft, and up-to-date layouts. Domodedovo International Airport recently installed a new runway and terminal and those updates have also been included. The update for Moscow City X can be obtained by logging into the store you purchased the scenery from and downloading the new installer. The update has been published as a complete installer so all previous versions must be uninstalled before updating. Moscow City X v1.4 can be purchased from Simmarket for €25.00.
Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2.1 has also been updated. The update addresses problems with the FSX-related lighting. The airport AFCAD has been updated to interact better with the default ATC system and AI traffic. As mentioned with Moscow City X, the update can be obtained by re-downloading the installer from the vendor you purchased the product from. The Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2 DEMO has also been uploaded on several freeware add-on websites. Moscow Sheremetyevo X V2.1 can be purchased from Simmarket for €22.00.
