Drzewiecki Design Releases Tokyo Narita

Polish developer Drzewiecki Design has released their Tokyo Narita Airport (RJAA) for P3D V4.5+ and V5. The project was originally announced as a whole Tokyo landscape including both Haneda (RJTT) and Narita (RJAA) airports, and has moved on to what will apparently be two separate products, in which Haneda will be the one including some Tokyo landmarks.

The Narita Airport scenery concentrates on the airport and its immediate surrounding. This version includes a detailed modeling, PBR materials, weather and time dependant dynamic lighting, detailed terrain mesh. It represents the airport in its current layout, which has evolved quite a lot over the past decades and where other sceneries had became outdated.

The Tokyo Narita Airport is located approximately 35 Nm to the north east of the city. It opened in 1978 to help relieve the traffic from Haneda Airport. The Narita Airport development has been plagued by legal battles over landowner expropriation in the area. The Narita Airport is currently the busiest airport in Japan, with around 43 million passengers each year. While the airport was primarily dedicated to an international service, the growth of air traffic in Japan led to an increasing share of domestic traffic in Narita over the last two decades. The airport features only two 16/34 runways, one being 2,500m and the other 4,000m.

According to their Facebook page, the product will also be released for X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator at an undisclosed date for the moment. You can purchase Drzewiecki Design Narita Airport on Simmarket for €20.32.
