Drzewiecki Design Provides Latest Preview of Katowice

Drzewiecki Design has shared another round of progress on its upcoming Katowice Airport (EPKT) scenery, showcasing continued work on both large structures and finer details.

The main terminal has seen further development, with interior areas now featuring custom information boards. Work has also started on Terminal A, expanding the passenger facilities within the project.

On the landside, a new hotel has been completed alongside an additional technical building. Across the apron, refinements continue, while the distinctive cargo high-loader—designed for 777, 767, and 747 operations—remains in development.

Visual updates include the introduction of red obstruction lights, as well as new ground service vehicles and equipment scattered throughout the airport to add activity. Dozens of office containers have also been finished and placed around service areas to capture the airport’s industrial character.

Behind the scenes, optimisation work has taken place with LOD adjustments and numerous small corrections, helping to balance performance with detail.

Katowice continues to take shape week by week, with Drzewiecki Design focusing on everything from large architectural structures to the smallest ground-level touches. You can keep track yourself over on their Instagram.
