Drzewiecki Design Announces Tokyo as Next Major Project

After their successful releases of Chicago and Seattle (cityscape and airport packages), popular developer Drzewiecki Design has announced via Facebook that Tokyo will be their next big project.

We can expect Tokyo to be developed and published in a similar way to their Chicago and Seattle packages promising highly detailed cityscapes and airport scenery packages.

We know that Tokyo will include at least two airports which will most likely be Narita (RJAA) and Haneda (RJTT). The developers are asking for the public to provide photographs if you work, operate or just visit Narita or Haneda in order to aid development.

As Tokyo city and its surrounding area is a flat environment, Drzewiecki has stated that they will try to use more automation and batch processing limiting the autogen use. What this means for the user is optimal performance-friendly visuals with minimal impact on frame rates.

As with all of Drzewiecki products, the main focus of this development will be for 64bit platforms with the option of backward compatibility for 32bit platforms. What we can tell you is that Tokyo will also be developed for X-Plane 11.

No release date has been given but we will bring you all of the latest information regarding this project as soon as we have it.
