Dreamflight Studios has released the massive overhaul of its popular scenery for New Jersey’s Teterboro Airport. KTEB – Teterboro Airport v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 and 2024 comes just weeks after the developer shared some teaser images detailing the progress. This “new era” for Dreamflight Studios’ KTEB brings a complete rebuild of one of the world’s most important general aviation airports.
Located just across the Hudson River from Manhattan in the New York City metro area, Teterboro is a gateway for business and private aviation. It is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the United States, recording over 175,000 private jet departures in 2025. Teterboro also serves as the primary base for major fractional operators and corporate flight departments with seven FBOs on the field. During summer 2026, traffic at Teterboro is expected to increase dramatically due to its proximity to the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches at nearby MetLife Stadium, so Dreamflight Studio’s release will be popular with simmers wishing to get in on the World Cup action.
Dreamflight Studios’ KTEB – Teterboro Airport v2 update represents a massive overhaul from the original Teterboro “V1” released for MSFS 2020 in 2021. According to the developer, the airport has been completely rebuilt to take advantage of the latest capabilities in both MSFS 2020 and 2024. The scenery features highly detailed modeling and upgraded 4K textures throughout. Notably, all of Teterboro’s FBOs have been recreated with accurate interiors and exteriors, including lobbies and hangars, providing even more immersion for pilots of the sim’s growing fleet of business jets.
Beyond the fully-modeled FBOs, hangars, and airport buildings, the scenery includes accurate ground markings, custom night lighting, and enhanced details for the landside areas surrounding the airport. Teterboro features a unique runway configuration with two intersecting runways: the 7,000-foot (2,133 m) runway 01-19, and the shorter runway 06-24. Runways 06,19, and 24 feature Engineered Material Arresting Systems (EMAS) to safely decelerate aircraft in the event of an overrun.
