Dreamflight Studios has taken to their Facebook Page to share four preview images of the upcoming, all-new Teterboro Airport V2 (KTEB) for Microsoft Flight Simulator. According to the developer, “it was time for a new era,” and the airport will be rebuilt from the ground up, with Dreamflight Studios adding highly detailed models and upgraded textures throughout. The update comes several years after the developer released the first version of Teterboro for MSFS 2020 in 2021. The stated goal is to create a “richer, more immersive atmosphere across the entire airport.”
Located in northern New Jersey, just minutes from Midtown Manhattan in New York City, KTEB functions as a gateway for business and private aviation. It is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the United States, recording 75,029 private jet departures in 2025. The airport is built around two primary intersecting runways: 7,000 feet (2,133 m) runway 01-19 and the slightly shorter runway 06-24 at 6,013 feet (1,833 m). Runways 06,19, and 24 feature Engineered Material Arresting Systems (EMAS) to safely decelerate aircraft in the event of an overrun.
Nearly all of the big-name fractional jet operators have a presence at Teterboro, and some fractionals base large portions of their fleets at the airport. Several corporate flight departments serving large, multinational corporations, investment banks, and major news conglomerates are also based at the airport’s FBOs and corporate hangars. Dreamflight Studios says that all seven of KTEB’s FBOs will be recreated with accurate interiors and exteriors, which will be sure to be popular with simmers using any of the upcoming bizjets for MSFS.
Dreamflight Studios closed their Facebook post with the words “coming soon”, but we don’t know yet how long the wait will be or any upgrade pricing details. Stay tuned to FSElite as more details about KTEB V2 emerge.
