Developer Dreamflight Studios has announced via their Facebook page that their next project will be Mexico City for X-Plane. This will be their first for the platform.
Mexico City International Airport (MMMX) is located 5km east of downtown Mexico City, Mexico. The airport handles over 100,000 passengers a day, serviced by 30 airlines and 17 cargo carriers making this airport the busiest hub in Mexico. Airlines such as Aeromexico, Interjet, volaris and LATAM Cargo make Mexico City Airport their hub, operating to over 100 destinations.
Dreamflight posted the following screenshots straight from X-Plane of the airport renders, detailing the amount of work that has gone into making what looks like a detailed, vast scenery package that includes a large area of Mexico City itself.
In the comments of their post, Dreamflight mentions that the scenery is very close to release for X-Plane. When questioned about an update to their existing FSX version to P3D compatibility, they responded that their plan is to release a whole new version for P3D very soon. Keep an eye on the Dreamflight Facebook page for updates to the upcoming release.
