Providing avid Asia adventurers with another destination to discover, scenery developer DominicDesignTeam has released their rendition of Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (VTBD) for MSFS.
Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport is one of the two major international airports servicing the municipality of Bangkok in the southeast Asian state of Thailand. The airport was initially opened by the Thai Air Force as early as 1914 and, with it having seen the introduction of commercial services in 1924, is commonly considered the longest continuously operating commercial airport in all of Asia. Today, the airport is regarded as the world’s largest low-cost carrier airport, with it serving as the main hub for well-known Asian low-cost carriers, including Nok Air, Thai AirAsia & Thai LionAir, among others.
Scenery developer DominicDesignTeam, known for their replications of primarily Asian hubs, has released their rendition of this key Thai aviation hub for MSFS users to enjoy. Although not having provided a detail-rich feature list, it does seem as though the airport is up to par with the developer’s previous projects. In addition to coming included with custom-created 3d buildings and structures and custom jetways, the scenery also seems to boast a more or less detailed terminal interior.
DominicDesginTeam’s rendition of Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport (VTBD) can now be purchased from the simMarket online store and will set you back €16.50 Ex. VAT.
