Scenery developer Digital Designs has released Tenerife v2 for X-Plane 11. The airport located in the canary islands is the largest on the island and serves a host of destinations across Europe. The warm, year-round climate means its the perfect escape for those looking for some sunshine at any time of the year. As such, the airport is often full of European carriers from around the continent.
The new version of Tenerife South Airport (GCTS) the airport includes new high-resolution texturing (with PBR materials also used), along with a brand-new 3D ground model. This also means that the runway and taxiways now slope in accordance to the real profiles found on airport documentation. Furthermore, the airport also now features an improved 3D terminal model, airport vehicles and new buildings that are situated along the approach path. Finally, those who own Orbx’s TrueEarth Canary Islands will be pleased to see that the airport has full compatibility with the product.
