Desktop Pilot has announced a range of new hardware products and simulator developments ahead of FlightSimExpo 2026, where the company will be exhibiting at Booth #107 throughout the weekend. The family-run hardware manufacturer will showcase several new general aviation-focused products, provide updates on its Full Flight Simulator project, and reveal plans for upcoming force feedback controls.
Among the latest additions to the Desktop Pilot lineup are a Magnetic Compass, Lighted Fuse Ignition Panel, Lighted Circuit Breaker Panel, TPM Pro Throttle Quadrant, and Carb Heat Pro Throttle Quadrant. The company says these products are designed to help student pilots, flight simulation enthusiasts, home cockpit builders, and flight schools create a more realistic training environment.
In addition to its growing hardware catalogue, Desktop Pilot will be demonstrating its Full Flight Simulator, which is currently undergoing the certification process to become an Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). The simulator is aimed at providing a more complete training platform while remaining accessible to both flight schools and home users.
The company also shared plans for two new products expected later this year: a Force Feedback Yoke and matching Rudder Pedals. Both products are intended to further enhance realism for general aviation simulation and training applications.
FlightSimExpo attendees will also be able to experience Desktop Pilot’s G1000 Suite, which features dedicated Primary Flight Display and Multi-Function Display screens alongside a fully functional audio panel. During the show, the suite will be available at a promotional price of $1,695.
Speaking about the company’s continued growth, founder Amy Bushong said the goal remains to provide pilots, students, instructors, and flight sim users with realistic tools that help improve confidence, cockpit familiarity, and training effectiveness outside of the aircraft.
As part of its FlightSimExpo presence, Desktop Pilot will also offer visitors a 15% discount on all hardware purchases made at its booth during the event.
