Delta Wing has shared a new progress update on their upcoming ATR turboprop airliner for X-Plane 12, confirming the project is moving steadily toward release. The ATR, widely used by regional airlines around the world, is known for its efficient short-haul performance, modern avionics, and reliable operations into smaller airports.
According to the developer, most of the essential aircraft systems are now complete. Current work is focused on refining cockpit visuals, including the digital displays, annunciators, warning systems, and button indications to improve immersion and realism. Delta Wing has said this is aiming to be a “study level” product.
Delta Wing is now aiming for a 2026 release, with final pricing and an exact launch date to be announced closer to launch.
