DC Designs Updates Concorde on MSFS

DC Designs updated Concorde and provided brief commentary on future plans to come.

DC Designs Updates Concorde on MSFS

DC Designs took to social media to share their weekly progress report on their development activities and it includes news on a new update for their Concorde on Microsoft Flight Simulator. They also reiterated their current stance on MSFS 2024 development and teased what the future will hold for them.

The update itself brings the plane to version 1.0.9 and is mostly minor changes and fixes to the plane (in the context of other updates anyway). Fixes include corrected fuel tank contents needles, corrected code for Mach, IAS and Barometric drums, and also fixes to the interactive checklist.

MSFS 2024

Sadly, DC Designs is unable to commit to any timelines in bringing their products to the new simulator. Whilst they are watching the new simulator closely, they feel there still needs to be some changes in order to allow them to bring their aircraft to the simulator or provide updates. Their advice to anyone using their planes in MSFS 2024 prematurely is to wait for further information on when updates will be made available.

2025 Plans

We will have to wait a week to find out exactly what DC Designs has in store, but they said we will learn about the “last DC Designs aircraft” and outline plans for 2025. Hopefully this is a typo or something as it would be interesting to see why DC Designs chose to use the word “last” when describing a new aircraft product.

As usual, we’ll keep you posted.
