DC Designs has shared a brief development update on its upcoming Concorde for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, confirming that the iconic supersonic aircraft is already up and running natively in the new simulator.
According to the developer, Concorde has been successfully converted to a fully native MSFS 2024 aircraft, with core folder structures now complete. Work is currently focused on refining smaller details ahead of a planned release next week, suggesting the project is now in its final stages of preparation.
Career Mode to Follow Post-Release
While Concorde will launch without full career mode integration, DC Designs has confirmed that support for the feature is planned. Due to the complexity involved in integrating aircraft into MSFS 2024’s career system, this functionality will be added after the initial release once the aircraft is stable in the new platform.

More Aircraft Conversions Planned
Following Concorde, DC Designs will shift focus to converting its SC Designs F-16 series to MSFS 2024. This will mark the developer’s first multi-variant conversion for the new simulator, requiring additional work compared to single aircraft projects.
Once the F-16 package is complete, the team plans to continue updating its wider portfolio, with the F-14 Tomcat expected to be among the next aircraft to receive a native MSFS 2024 conversion.
Stay tuned and we’ll bring you more news as it happens.
