Developer DC Designs is wrapping up work on the Prepar3D version for its upcoming release of Concorde on the flight simulator platform. However, we also know that DC Designs will be releasing Concorde for Microsoft Flight Simulator later this year. In a recent post from the developers, new previews for Concorde in MSFS have been shown off,
Speaking on the Facebook post, DC Designs said that there has been “lots of testing of the systems” with the aircraft, but wanted to remind people that this isn’t a so-called ‘Study Level’ aircraft. However, there is still plenty of work for pilots to do such as fuel transfer, climbing the aircraft as efficiently as possible and also ensuring the centre of gravity balance is maintained. Work on the Prepar3D version is due to wrap up soon with then Just Flight only then left to publish it based on their schedule. It was also confirmed that the aircraft won’t release under “super high pricing”.
Speaking of pricing, DC Designs confirmed that there will indeed be a pricing upgrade available for those who then purchase Concorde for Microsoft Flight Simulator. This is despite the fact that the team will rebuild the cockpit to bring it to new standards. Alongside that, the team showcased the aircraft in the all-new simulator.
