A new lick of virtual paint and modelling is coming to DC Designs’ Concorde, as per new social posts shared by the development team. Over on social media, DC Designs has been previewing progress on the upcoming update for the Concorde that will feature an improved passenger cabin and cockpit thanks to remodelling and texture work.
In the most recent post, DC Designs said that the passenger cabin has been worked on to refine what was previously there. This includes new overhead models, windows, and other features that make it look better than ever.
In the flight deck, the team said that they had retextured and rebuilt many of the instruments. This, overall, gives it a much more realistic look compared to the version which is available right now. It’s good to note that all what you see is WIP.
Earlier in August, DC Designs stated that they intend on completely re-doing all textures and modelling throughout to make the aircraft more visually appealing all these years after the initial release. Furthermore, there is all-new custom visual effects coming, along with the potential for afterburner effects. In addition, the CIVA INS for those wanting to use it will be added.
DC Designs is keeping coy about the release schedule for this update, but we will be sure to keep a close eye on it. For now, though, enjoy the previews.
