Commercial Simulation Systems (CSS) has officially completed its Boeing 737 Classic family for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 following the release of the highly anticipated 737-300 and 737-400 variants. The launch expands the existing 737-500 package and gives simmers access to the full passenger Classic lineup.
The 737-300 arrives as the most widely produced member of the Classic family and includes multiple engine configurations, winglet options, and a selection of liveries from operators around the world. Meanwhile, the stretched 737-400 brings additional capacity and features both passenger and freighter variants, broadening operational possibilities for virtual airlines and cargo operators alike.
All aircraft share the same core feature set found in the existing 737-500, including a custom FMC v5, IRS navigation, LNAV and VNAV functionality, autoland capabilities, weather and terrain radar, custom electronic flight bag, SimBrief integration, and Navigraph support. The aircraft are available for both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The release also marks the completion of a project that began with the launch of the 737-500. Over the past year, CSS has continued to refine the aircraft through a series of updates, including native MSFS 2024 support, new systems functionality, performance improvements, and visual enhancements.
For existing owners of the full $120 permanent licence, the newly released variants are included at no additional cost. CSS has also introduced standalone purchasing options, allowing simmers to purchase the 737-300, 737-400, or 737-500 individually for $45 each. Freighter expansions for the 737-300 and 737-400 will be available separately for $10.
The CSS 737 Classic Family is available now through the CSS store and selected third-party retailers for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, including Contrail.
