Creator of Worlds (COWS) has updated their Diamond DA42 for MSFS to version 1.1.5. The update is available now to new and existing customers via the Orbx Central platform.
This update includes several new features and a handful of fixes for the MSFS 2024 version of the addon.
Among these are a new AFCS (automatic flight control system) and PFT (PFD, FD, Trim), a custom roll servo, pitch servo augmentation, standard rate turns, and additional warnings and failures.
The TAWS system has also been redone with new sounds and failure modes.
The 2024 version of the aircraft has had some bugs fixed including the engines being stuck in a failed condition under certain circumstances, issues with state-saving persistence, the default fuel load, and the aircraft “falling into” the ground when walking away in walkaround mode.
The update can now be downloaded through Orbx Central.
