Released in May under the early access banner, Colimata has continued to keep to their promise of updating their Concorde for X-Plane. The new update, version 1.02, focuses on autopilot and the INS (Inertial Navigation Systems). The update is available to all users of the product.
The update brings both TRK and HGD mods, along with complex VOR/LOC functions to be able to capture the VOR radials and also automatically compensate for the ILS lateral deviation. The team has also said that the ALT ACQ is now as “real as it gets.” Other improvements have also been given to the fly-by-wire systems at low level as well as showing more information about the ILS and VOR data on the copilot’s side.
Updates will continue to be released for the Colimata Concorde over time, with the team listening to community feedback to better the aircraft in X-Plane 11. You can read the full change log and information with the released PDF.
To download the update, head over to the forums and download the file. Simply then follow the instructions to install it to your system.
[Editor’s Note: Apologies, we have corrected the version number from 1.2 to 1.02.]
